My hair, or more specifically the curls in my hair, are annoying me.
Today I found out about the Brazilian treatment, which involves putting formaldehyde in your hair to straighten it, and the Japanese Straighting which is putting some other, probably equally as nasty, chemical in your hair. Supposedly it's permanent, well, for the life of that part of the hair anyway.
So it takes a bloody long time, like 4 hours or something, and costs a phenomenal amount of cash. But, if I don't have to pay any attention to my hair for 6 to 8 months, that's pretty appealing.
Out Damn Curls! Out I say! How did Lady MacBeth solve her problems?

I tell you what baby, you can give me the $500, I'll fly out, and straighten it myself for you =D

Not worth it. No, no, no. :S Unless you like absurdly pin-straight destroyed hair that you'll never be able to do a thing with. It looks 100% fake and disgustingly unnatural IMO. And I've heard nothing but bad things about it.
Your hair is gorgeous. Let it grow a little longer if the curls bother you so much. You have the most stunning curls, which inspired me to let my own natural curls live and stop being raped by a flat iron each morning. I've never been happier with my hair. Natural beauty. And you have it, dear friend. If you were to wreck them I'd be so sad. :( Remember what we talked about last night? Natural beauty! :D
Take the $500 and have you and Taubin fly here while the weather is nice and cool and the leaves are beginning to turn, and I'll give you a grand tour of KPPC you won't forget. :D

To be perfectly straight with you, $500 is silly money for anything to do with hair. There, I set the record straight for you. Keep your money and keep on the straight and narrow. Get straight down to business - the business of saving yourself $500 that is... straight up, homie!

When my hair is long it gets curly, so I keep it short. not sure if you want to go that route or if it even helps with your hair; But, $500 seems a bit pricey for 6 to 8 months of relief; you can buy a lot of flat irons for that kind of dough.
Dear lady MacBeth went insane, probably not a viable solution either, however you probably would not care about the hair anymore.... :)~
Blink....blink, blink..... you added me to the roll call? Thanks! That was a super nice thing to do, You Rock!

NO! NO! NO! NO!
You have the most gorgeous, beautiful, FATTEST hair of anyone I know. Don't ruin it.
Please take the advice of someone who has perfectly straight, very fine hair. Love what you have. DO NOT ruin it this way. I had almost all my hair fall out when I was in my 20s because I let an "expert" talk me into some exotic perm that was supposed to last longer than regular perms and give me "natural" curls. I ended up straw for hair and a burned scalp. It took nearly a year to grow back out.
Don't make me come out there!
