Kahui Twins -- Not Shaken Baby Syndrome

The New Zealand Herald reports this morning: Kahui twins died from blow to heads, police reveal.

"Police said today the head injuries which killed the babies resulted from a blow to their heads or from their heads being bashed against a solid object."

Unfortunately it is not surprising to read this statement either:

"He said the babies also had other injuries including having their ribs broken in a violent attack some time before they were bashed on the head in a later fatal attack."

Finishing with this statement:

"I would just like to make the point that these babies were in the care of their family for only five weeks."

The positive out of this whole situation is those two little guys are no longer suffering and have been spared long lives of torture and abuse.  RIP Chris and Cru.  I'm an infidel but I sincerely hope if there is such a thing as a God and Heaven, that you are there right now.
